Dr Nhan Pham
Researcher

Dr. Nhan T. Pham was trained as a physicist but has been working for more 10 years in field of drug discovery. First in target-based and then in whole cell or phenotypic drug discovery. He is at the moment a senior screening scientist in the Carragher Lab at the Edinburgh Phenotypic Assay Centre (EPAC) at the University of Edinburgh. He will perform a variety of drug screening assays, using disease models generated by colleagues within the centre, to find potential treatment. The main focus of the screening effort will be on repurposing existing drugs for rare respiratory diseases.
