Researchers – collaborate with us
Join a national network of excellence in rare respiratory diseases
We welcome researchers from all disciplines to collaborate with the Centre in advancing translational science for rare respiratory diseases (RRDs). By working together, we can accelerate the development of effective diagnostics, disease models, and therapies that directly benefit patients.
Opportunities for collaboration
Biobank & registry
Become involved in developing or sharing your expertise in biobanks and registries. We will eventually be encouraging researchers to apply for access to the RRD’s UK-wide biobank and well-characterised patient registry to support research.
Join our research programmes
Find out more and contribute to our work packages – from patient engagement and registries to advanced gene therapies and drug screening.
Model systems & screening platforms
Learn about our state-of-the-art lung organoid and airway cell models for disease mechanism studies and therapeutic screening.
Early career development – particularly in our network
Apply for support to help you advance your career. We have funding ring-fenced to support early-career researchers (ECRs), as well as opportunities through our RRD Academy and MB/PhD programme.
Collaborative grant applications
Partner with our investigators on funding bids that align with your expertise.
