Team Members

Laura is Research Communications Manager at the RRD Centre in Edinburgh. 
She is responsible for planning and implementing the Centre’s communication and engagement strategy, delivering engaging, informative communications and events, and building effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including patient groups, industry partners, funders, researchers, academics and clinicians. 

She has a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, an MSc in Experimental Psychology, and extensive experience in transforming scientific information into accessible communications with real-world impact. She spent ten years working in corporate communications in Paris and a further decade as a freelance communications specialist in London and her home town of Edinburgh. She enjoys sewing and is handy in a pub quiz.
