Prof. Jane C. Davies is Professor of Paediatric Respirology & Experimental Medicine at the National Heart & Lung Institute, Imperial College London. She is also Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine at the Royal Brompton Hospital, part of Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Trust. Her clinical and research expertise lies in cystic fibrosis, particularly lung infection and novel therapies/ clinical trial outcomes for CF. She co-leads the PRECISION Innovation Hub focussed on polymicrobial interaction and novel detection/ diagnostic approaches. She is closely involved in clinical trial design, has been global lead investigator on many clinical trials of CFTR modulator drugs, including in young children and leads research programmes in advanced physiology and functional lung imaging.
